Dr. John Eaton was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  He attended Brigham Young University Idaho where he received an AAS in Veterinary Technology and a BS in Exercise Physiology, after which he attended Iowa State University and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.  

Aside from veterinary medicine John has been a citizen soldier in the Army National Guard since 2015 where he gratefully serves as an engineer officer.  John is excited to be at Travis Country Veterinary Hospital and serve the people of Austin. 

During his off time he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and his pug, Pancake.
